Joe Alberto, the owner of Joe's Body Shop is a retired US Air Force MSGT who began learning the art of massage in 1997. He blossomed his knowledge by adding an even more integrative approach to massage by also becoming a master of Reiki and Energy healing and blending these sessions into his massage sessions. Joe is also quite down to earth and easy to talk to so you can talk to him about what hurts and what needs therapy and he can get you on track and even give you knowledge as how to approach rehab of certain muscle groups and areas of the body that get overuse injuries.

Another vital aspect of Joe's Body Shop is the Aromatherapy. Joe's Body Shops' Debbi Alberto is an experienced Reiki Master and has been educated in the Aromatherapy department dating back to 1991! Debbi knows her stuff and if you sit and talk with her for 5 minutes its clear she is a professional in the field. I think I've learned more talking with her about Aromatherapy than I did working in a health store where I was educated on Aromatherapy for 2 years. She has been doing Aromatherapy for friends, family and clients for many years and continues to craft her trade through texts, books, and experienced teachers. The strength of her sessions is in the therapeutic use
and application of oils to assist her clients in resolving complaints and issues. She
offers a centuries old alternative to mainstream therapies and she is a very caring
and empathic healer.

Reiki Training (level I, II and III Master/Teacher):
Usui Reiki training sessions are scheduled on an "as needed" basis. When completed, the new practitioner will require a 21 day period to integrate the new energy flow. During this period you can expect to "process" any unwanted energies from your body in a variety of different ways. Some experience flu-like symptoms, some exhilaration, some anger, tears, and outbursts. -OR- some have a very smooth transition... but in any case you will feel the new energy flow and can begin the healing journey that the Reiki will bring you.
Reiki I takes anywhere between 4 and 6 hours and includes 4 attunements and your training guide. $150.00
Reiki II Also takes 4 to 6 hours and includes your training guide and 3 Reiki symbols for you to use during your Reiki journey.$300.00
Reiki III includes ALL training materials for your use as a teacher, a Masters symbol, and you will be invited to apprentice with Joe to complete your training as a master. $600.00

Aromatherapy Sessions: $65.00
Debbi is the owner and operator of Debbi's Aromatherapy & Essential Oils and makes up our Aromatherapy department. She has created a safe stylized application of essential oils which harmonize with the 7 primary chakras. These are diluted with carrier oils to ensure the safety of the client and then applied to the body. These oils are applied to the reflex points on the feet, gently massaged in, then allowed to soak with plenty of revitalizing reiki energy. Debbi will then turn you face down and "feather stroke" the oils onto your back with the intent of soaking into the spinal areas thus eliminating dormant viruses and bacteria. With the oils applied you will next get a hot moist wrap along the spine to facilitate absorption and then she provides reiki for you as you drift into oblivion.

Tranquility Sessions: $65.00
- Swedish Relaxation with long flowing strokes that will melt away your stresses and leave you floating on the table totally relaxed.
- Deep Tissue Relaxation with it's ever deepening strokes. This is the preferred session for those who want a more lasting result. Be ready for a variety of passive stretches and heavy pressure to promote healing in those perpetually tight areas.
- Reiki sessions meld the therapist with the client in a fusion of energy and life force replenishment. Your therapist will do a hands on session that will leave you flushed of your disabling negative energies and you will be renewed throughout your mind, body and spirit.
- Neuromuscular, Trigger Point and Myofascial Therapy techniques used in a wide variety of combinations to help you overcome your injuries. Yes... this one is very deep and can stretch your pain tolerance... but wow does it ever release your tangled muscles and you definitely feel better when you are done.
Integrative Sessions: $80.00
In an Integrative Session your therapist will blend every tool in their tool box to give you the ultimate experience in healing massage! This includes Reiki, energy balancing, chakra clearing and alignment, emotional release and any assortment of massage technique required to give you the best result
possible.
